WoW Forever South Africa — Server overview & how to join Important

Welcome to WoW Forever South Africa, a community server built around the WoW Forever client and ForeverCore. This is not an official Blizzard server.

Your realm

Normal is the realm currently used by this server. Create a character, explore Azeroth and play together with the community. Check the homepage for the current realm status before connecting.

Accounts and character tools

• Register your server account here on wowforever.co.za. Use that account's email address and password in the game.
• Search the Armory for characters and inspect their equipment, talents and learned spells.
• Inspect character models with the interactive 3D viewer, including its enlarged inspection mode.
• Open Players Online to see connected characters and visit their Armory profiles. Bots are distinguished separately where supported by the server's bot data.
• Characters and progress are stored on the server, not in your launcher.

Website and community

ForeverCMS brings together account management, realm status, news, the Armory, Players Online, a shop interface and the connection guide. The website is available over HTTPS and supports English and French.

Gameplay rates, bot availability, shop products and currencies depend on this server's configuration. The team will announce those settings separately; this article does not assume they match another Forever server.

Joining from your own PC

1. Open How to play from the website menu.
2. Install the supported official beta client through Battle.net using the command shown in the guide. The current connection helper targets client 1.60.1.70450.
3. Create a server account and choose a password different from your Blizzard password.
4. Download WoW Forever SA QuickPlay from the guide. If you use the MediaFire archive, extract it first. Copy WoW Forever SA.exe into the game installation folder containing Data and _classic_beta_, or choose that folder when prompted.
5. Launch the helper normally, sign in with your server account and choose Normal. Keep the helper running near the Windows clock while playing.

Battle.net is used to obtain the game files. Its Play button connects to Blizzard, not to this community server. The beta installation command does not grant beta access or guarantee that Battle.net provides the required build. Ask the team if the beta is unavailable or your client version is different.

Connection testing

QuickPlay 0.1.5 is currently a testing release. The operator is completing the server certificate setup and the end-to-end build 70450 connection test. A successful compilation or reachable port alone does not confirm that game login works.

The helper checks official game signatures, the expected build and trusted server TLS. It uses a separate game profile and does not change Config.wtf, game executable files on disk, Windows hosts entries or trusted root certificates. No administrator launch is needed.

Feedback

If you cannot connect, check the realm status and the build shown by your client. Send the team the exact error message and the helper's connection log. Never share your account password.
